This takes “going out with a bang” to a new level. Paige Anderson wanted to give her grandfather Tom a Viking funeral like he wanted, but that was impossible because it was illegal. Instead, she came up with a different idea; Paige used Vaseline to stick Tom’s ashes to fireworks before they were launched to celebrate his life.
“We looked into doing it with a company, but it was quite pricey, and he was very frugal with his money so would have told us to do it ourselves,” Paige said.
