THIRTEEN BRAZILIAN SHARKS TEST POSITIVE FOR COCAINE

DW: Regular sharks are bad enough, but now they're hyped up with the booger sugar? NOPE NOPE NOPE

More than a dozen sharks in Brazil tested positive for cocaine, raising concerns about drug contamination in the ocean. Researchers found high levels of coke in the livers and muscle tissue of 13 sharp-nose sharks from Rio de Janeiro. The concentration was up to 100 times higher than previously recorded in marine life. The source is unclear, but theories include illegal drug labs or smugglers losing their cargo at sea. Scientists suspect these sharks were likely more aggressive, which is worrying for the ecosystem...and anyone in the water with the cocaine sharks.
