Be careful putting on your makeup…especially when it’s permanent. A woman got more than she bargained for following a lip-blushing treatment that made her lips balloon up. Whitney Leavitt posted her “Monsters Inc.” mouth, as she called it, while her husband compared her to a “Bratz doll.”
So, what the heck happened? Experts in the lip tattoo field – also called “lip blushing” – say the procedure can leave a patient’s lips swollen, irritated, and scabbed over for about a week. However, “it’s unlikely you will have any long-term damage to your lips from lip blushing.” Let’s hope not for Leavitt’s sake!
