UK ERECTS CEMETERY RAILINGS TO STOP PEOPLE FROM "SEXY TIME" ON TOMBSTONES

DW: "Is that rigomortis in your pocket or are you just glad to see me?"

Authorities in a UK town are considering measures to stop people from “getting it on” on top of tombstones in a local cemetery. In an effort to curb high levels of crime in and around Ipswich’s final resting place, officials recommend measures to "deter activity on top of the tombstones" including building enclosures or railings at the top edge of the grave markers.

So, what exactly kind of anti-social behavior is going on in the graveyard? The borough’s council sent out a letter to residents stating, "In publicly accessible but secluded locations such as this, it is sadly common to find raised tombstones being used as tables to consume alcohol and drugs," adding, "They are also sometimes the site of sexual activity."
