GUY SUES TACO BELL FOR MISLEADING AMOUNT OF BEEF IN FOOD

DW: Yes Virginia, you CAN sue for anything. I'm suing my mom for not making me over 6 feet tall...

A man in New York is suing over a “beef” he has with Taco Bell. Frank Siragusa says he – and the general public – have been misled over how much beef and bean filling actually go into their food. In a proposed class action filed Monday, Siragusa claimed the Mexican Pizza, Veggie Mexican Pizza, Crunchwrap Supreme, Grande Crunchwrap, and Vegan Crunchwrap all contain half as much filling as is advertised in ad campaigns, calling it “unfair and financially damaging to consumers.” The lawsuit seeks at least $5 million for Taco Bell customers who bought the five items in New York state in the last three years.

This ain’t Siragusa’s first rodeo either. Last year, the New Yorker filed a lawsuit against McDonald’s and Wendy’s over the same issue – the actual amount of burger versus the advertised amount. That case is still pending.
