Due to heavy rain and thunderstorms expected on Saturday, the Appomattox OysterFest has been rescheduled to Sunday at DeVault Vineyards in Concord.
The event will still be held from 10:00 am for Early Access passes, to 5:00 pm. Ticket sales will be extended to accommodate this change on their website, AppomattoxEvents.com.
Event Chairman Tom Adams: "We are upset that this fundraising event had to be postponed, but hope that a reschedule will work out, as the money raised from it goes back into the community through our assistance programs and donations to local law enforcement, both of which we overwhelmingly support. We are looking forward to planning this and other events this year to help us help you!"
