CANADIANS BREAK RECORD FOR LARGEST DINOSAUR DANCE PARTY

DW: I would have been the one asking the T-rex's to clap along...

A world record may have been broken on Saturday when more than 1,000 folks showed up in the Saskatoon province of Canada for a giant dinosaur dance party. In the hopes of going for a new Guinness World Record for most people dressed as dinosaurs, the crowd donned giant, floppy T-Rex outfits for the Jurassic jamboree.

Gary Grady, a tavern owner who organized the event, says he counted 1,163 costumed participants, blowing the 2019 record of 253 dinosaurs in Los Angeles out of the water. Grady says the info is being submitted to Guinness and when it’s official, all participants will get a certificate for being part of the challenge.
