FLOYD COUNTY, Va. (WSET) — FloydFest 2023 has been canceled after efforts to find a new event venue were unsuccessful.

According to a message shared with FloydFest ticketholders, they have made the decision to cancel after a review and thorough vetting of multiple alternative options.

FloydFest previously said final permitting and logistics beyond their control prevented the event from happening this year at the new site at FestivalPark.

For those who already have tickets, FloydFest said they have two options going forward: rolling over tickets to 2024 or requesting a refund.

Please visit FloydFest.com for ticket options. More on this story from our media partner, ABC 13 - WSET.

Statement from FloydFest:

To ensure that our beloved patrons receive the best FloydFest experience possible, and to protect the FloydFest vibe that means so much to so many, we have made the difficult decision to cancel FloydFest 2023, after a review and thorough vetting of multiple alternative options.
Make zero mistake — FloydFest is not going anywhere. We hope to see each of you, our FloydFest Family, in July 2024, as we christen your new home, FestivalPark. The outpouring of love, understanding and support we received last week following our initial announcement was extraordinary, and we will never forget it. We love our #FloydFestFamily so very much.
