A woman on TikTok has started a conversation among her 105k followers with a video showing her friend breastfeeding her baby, captioning the video with “When you’re a few drinks in so you let your friend nurse your baby.” @gregariously_grace said in a comment that her friend has a seven-month-old baby who is out of state for the weekend.
While some don’t like the idea and others see nothing wrong with letting someone else nurse your baby, the American Academy of Pediatrics doesn’t encourage using informally shared breast milk, saying that it could expose an infant to medications, alcohol, or spread disease.
