ABC 13 Weatherman Jamey Singleton was seriously injured following a crash on Route 122 Tuesday morning. Jamey will undergo more surgeries today. His family told ABC 13 that Jamey is alert, able to communicate, and had a good night after being in surgery on Tuesday.
ABC 13 is also reporting that State Police officials said the driver's [Jamey] lack of attention caused the accident. Police said he was eating breakfast at the time of the crash.

Jamey had to be cut out of his vehicle and airlifted to Roanoke Memorial Hospital after a head-on collision with a Schwan's delivery truck yesterday. The two men in the truck were also taken to the hospital. One was treated and released, the driver remained hospitalized in fair condition Tuesday evening.
Police said Jamey had been driving northbound on Route 122 in Moneta and reportedly crossed the center line and hit a Schwan's delivery truck head-on around 9:50 a.m. at Moneta Road and Stony Fork Road.
